Steppin' Out Saturday.

Today, I stepped out lots of places. We went to the retired greyhound adoption place and picked out Carl, to the new church to be generally unhelpful on the work day and see what Johannes had accomplished, to a U Miami information sesh, and then to my cousin's birthday party in which I sat by the pool and listened to my aunt and uncles tell stories that led me to believe that they were generally dumb children.

This is what I wore to the U Miami sesh:

Cardigan: Target, Shirt: Kohl's, Jeans: Levi's, Shoes: Payless.

Later this week, I may share some cute outfits I've been wearing to school. I have decided that this year, at least three days a week, I am going to make a conscious effort for fashion.

Summer is my favorite season by far.

Buuut, I'm kind of looking forward to fall/winter. Because of clothes.

I think that I became way more interested in fashion in this past year because I've gotten older. But this has been the first year that I actually feel that my fall/winter wardrobe is cuter than my summer wardrobe.

All because I didn't actually have a fall/winter wardrobe this year, and so I had to go and buy one.

But this is also why:

1. Sweater dresses.

2. Making summer dresses winter-friendly with leggings and boots.

3. Summer clothes are pretty much shorts and t-shirts every day, because it's so hot.

4. Jeans that make the outfit automatically dressier.

5. Simple, long-sleeved t-shirts.

6. Tights.

7. Scarves.

8. Being able to mix and match.

9. Not having to shave every. single. day.

10. Feeling snuggly all day.
